to create more than I consume

I’ve been thinking about what it means to start something without knowing where it’s going.
Today felt like one of those days where nothing dramatic happened — and yet, starting mattered.

The idea of starting a blog has been with me for over a decade. I’ve begun a few times, written three or four posts, and then quietly stopped. I’m sure those attempts are still somewhere on the internet.

Every time, I got overwhelmed.

A couple of days ago, the idea came back again. The same one. The familiar nudge to start something, even if I don’t know how long it will last.

This time, I’ve committed money to it. Not as a guarantee of consistency — just as a small signal to myself that I want to try differently. I’m not making big promises. I’m not aiming for streaks or outcomes.

This is simply an exercise in creating more than I consume.

I don’t know who will read this. Maybe no one. That’s okay.
If I spend fifteen minutes writing something, it already feels like time well spent. Sharing it with the world enhances this feeling.

It’s one small way of choosing creation over doom-scrolling.
Not giving up screen time — just using it a little better.
